In addition to the important event that represents the coming of the
fleet Pen Duick, will present this year for the first time two 8 m JI, a group of ships usually poorly represented. Thus we can find t-Athena (14m) designed in 1939 by Swedish architect Tore Holm - author of the famous Havsörnen - which will be conducted by a crew
from the Royal Yacht Squadron at Cowes on the Isle of Wight, and Rhea (14m) plan Talma Bertrand built in Arcachon.
They give the reply to another 8 m JI Aile VI, entered history to have won a gold medal in the hands of Virginia Hériot the Olympics of 1928.
